What We’re Reading and Watching
I am reading Impostor Syndrome by Kathy Wang (a Grace Atwood recommendation), which is about a female Russian spy that gets implanted in Silicon Valley, and ends up being the COO of a Facebook-like conglomerate. It’s a fun read - I love the tech-world insight mixed with the espionage drama. - D
I just ordered The Magic of Found Objects by Maggie Dawson and I’m so excited about it. I loved her first book Matchmaking for Beginners which was a perfect quirky rom-com and from the reviews her newest one looks like a charming and witty beach read. -E
Our mom is reading and loving The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. -E
We can’t wait to watch One of Us is Lying when the show comes out later this month on Peacock. Now’s your chance to read this murdery teen thriller if you want to get it in before you watch. -E
What We’re Buying
I wanted another cute top to wear with jeans this summer and ordered this smocked one in white (can you have too many white shirts??) and also really love the red printed version in the photo above. It’s coming today, and I hope it’s cute! - D
I got the cutest beaded evening bag from OMO Jewels for the black tie party that we went to last weekend. It was the perfect size for a phone and some lipstick and car keys, while still looking elegant. -E
What We’re Making
I got two packs of these teeny cards which are perfect for making gift tags, place cards or notes in lunch boxes. -E
We had so much fun creating a Gummy Bear themed birthday party and I can’t wait to share it on Festive Friday this week! -E
