Three Things Eloise is Talking About This Week:

High Fidelity on Hulu: I’m a little late to the game on this one, but I watched the entire series this weekend over the course of a few rainy days, when maayyybee I had too much fun the night before, and I loved it. So many good actors and characters that I was really invested in.

Revitalash Lash Serum: I got this lash serum a few months ago and have been diligently applying it every night after I wash my face. It took some time to see results, but now I think my lashes are looking noticeably longer and thicker. My mom commented on it the other day, and it’s been so nice to have healthy lashes in the summer when you want to wear less make up. I have dry eyes that are easily irritated, and I have noticed that if my application is a little heavy it can bother my eyes a bit, but that’s only once in while. Overall, it has been so effective and I can’t recommend it enough.

Le Californienne Watches: I came across this company a few weeks ago, and it’s turned into a full blown obsession. They take vintage Cartier watches and reimagine them with painted leather watch bands in cheerful colors. I love the clean pop of color and pattern and the idea of giving something beautiful and traditional a fresh take.

Three Things Dinah is Talking About This Week:

The Golden Cod: One of my favorite Boston-based media gurus and social media stars, Robbin Mangano, just launched the cutest brand, The Golden Cod. Inspired by the carved fish that many New Englanders hang above the doors of their homes, they are selling hand-carved cods made by local artists, as well as very cool coastal apparel. Their branding is unsurprisingly on point and i’m dying for one of the long-sleeved crewnecks!

Princess Royal at 70 : Saturday was Princess Anne’s 70th birthday (my very first “Royal You Should Know About”) and the Royal Family Twitter account did a thread each day of the week charting a different decade in her inspiring life. The photos were amazing, a great mix of personal and professional - and they highlighted her biggest achievements and milestones. If you want to learn more about her, I highly recommend taking a look!

The Home Edit: I’m back in Boston for close-to good this week, and the thing I’m most excited for is having time to do all of the apartment organizing that everyone else did during quarantine! I have already pre-ordered the new book from The Home Edit, which comes out on September 15. It’s very much my speed as the title is The Home Edit Life: The No-Guilt Guide to Owning What You Want and Organizing Everything and is apparently very pro-having stuff. Until then their first book and Instagram feed are giving me all of my deep cleaning inspo, especially for my giant closet. I am even thinking of posting a before and after on our Instagram!
