What We’re Reading and Watching

Holiday Home Makeover with Mr. Christmas on Netflix: This show is fun for adults or the whole family, but be warned that you will want to go all out with your holiday decorating after watching! I’m trying to restrain myself from driving to our local garden store and buying every light that they have in stock. -E
I have been riveted to the drama at the Hillsong Church and their now disgraced pastor Carl Lentz. I first learned about Lentz because he had become close with Justin Bieber and several Kardashians, one of those celebrity adjacent people who become kind of famous themselves. He was clearly loving the fame, cheating on his wife and getting into all sorts of trouble. Now more drama is coming out about the church as a whole and I’m hooked! - D

I just ordered the Sugarfina Advent Calendar for the girls (actually for me, but I can pretend its for them!). The girls always want the advent calendars with the chocolate pieces, but I wanted to some candy that would actually taste good! Each day has four pieces of candy, so I’m thinking that we can each have piece and have some yummy without going to crazy on the sugar in the morning. -E
Cardigan jackets are my winter wardrobe staple for looking pulled together, but staying comfortable! I am obsessed with this color-blocked version from J. Crew Factory as the perfect Thanksgiving topper with jeans and a white tee - it would also be so cute over an all white outfit. - D
Matching masks and bandanas sets from The Foggy Dog might be the perfect gift for the dog owners on my list this year (Mom and Tilly-I’m looking at you!). The masks are also cute on their own, but to be coordinate with your puppy might be the cutest thing ever. -E

Did you guys know that Gigi Hadid has a spicy vodka sauce recipe that has been making the rounds? My friend Katherine made it for me last week, and it was so delicious! A perfect easy weeknight dinner that is just the right amount of spice and flavor. - D
I want to have a little outside fire pit happy hour this weekend with a neighbor family, and I thought it would be so fun to try this Half Baked Harvest Spiced Cranberry Punch for the adults, since it’s going to be cold! It will be festive, easier than making individual cocktails and nice and warm. -E
