Three Things Eloise is Talking About This Week:
Amazon Workout Top: I’ve been on the hunt for new workout clothes this summer-somehow all I want to wear is a tank and cropped leggings in solid colors. I found this top on Amazon through Fashion Jackson and ordered it in black last week. I liked it so much that I ordered it in white and a pair of leggings too. The material is really soft and it’s just the right balance of loose and fitted, with a tie back option.
Chicken Caesar Salad Pizza from What’s Gaby Cooking: My kids discovered that they love Caesar Salad this summer, and they’ve been ordering it when we get pizza takeout and when we’ve eaten outside at restaurants. I found this recipe and knew that it would be a hit because it combines the pizza and salad all into one, minus the anchovies and with the addition of grilled chicken. It also reminds me of the salad pizza from CPK-that used to be my favorite! We’re going to try making it this week, and I’m thinking about subbing in naan or tortillas for pizza crust to make it even more simple.
Amanda Lindroth: Since we’re at home more this summer than ever, I’ve been wanting to entertain outdoors and have a few people over for dinner. I found Amanda Lindroth’s site through her collaboration with Julia Berlozheimer, and it’s just the look that I want right now. A Bahama’s inspired look from the designer’s island home, it features lot’s of rattan-wrapped glassware and airy summer prints on napkins and tablecloths. I also need this pagoda and the sale section has a ton of good stuff in it-especially those wicker-wrapped melamine serving platters!
Three Things Dinah is Talking About This Week:
Royal Wedding: HOLY MOLY THERE WAS A SURPRISE ROYAL WEDDING LAST WEEK!!! I am going to do a very deep dive on this for Thursday’s royals post, but Princess Beatrice, the daughter of Prince Andrew (The Queen’s third child) and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, got married to her dreamy Italian/English fiance in a super-tiny Covid wedding over the weekend! The Queen and Prince Philip were there, plus the bride wore a vintage dress of the The Queen’s and her wedding tiara. It was dreamy and magical and I can’t get the pictures and the joy on their faces out of my head!
Mask Fashion: I’m starting to want more variety and fun with my masks, especially as the virus gets even more widespread and it looks like we are going to really really be in this for a long time. I’ve been eyeing a few, but noticed that Bauble Bar has incredibly cute ones to coordinate with summer looks that are also pretty affordable.
Instagram Follow: One of my favorite Instagram accounts these days is Cake Atelier Amsterdam. The account features gorgeous floral arrangements, often in blue and white vessels, and even more amazingly, cakes that feature sugar flowers to mimic these arrangements. I have a hard time figuring out what is edible and what is a real flower - the artistry is just unreal.
