Three Things Eloise is Talking About This Week:

Cyprus Sandals: I’ve been living in these sandals from J. Crew. They’re so comfortable and always on sale-I have them in Roasted Pecan, and I’m thinking about getting them in white too. I’ve also been loving this white linen button down from J. Crew Factory-such a classic staple at a great price point.

David Foster Documentary on Netflix: This is the monster who left Yolanda when she was deep in the throws of Lyme disease. The documentary doesn’t candy coat his difficult personality and it was hilarious to watch the people around him try to find something nice to say.

Bruschetta: It’s so hot right now that I have no interest in cooking, and all I want to eat is a big salad and bruschetta, after my friend made an amazing one with peaches when we were out on the boat a few weeks ago. This Barefoot Contessa recipe is so good, this one with grilled bread from Bon Appetit is magical, and there’s also a great dairy free option from Cookie and Kate. You can also always freestyle your own mix of toppings depending on what you’re in the mood for-I’ve been trying mine with Kite Hill ricotta to keep things dairy free.

Three Things Dinah is Talking About This Week:

Finding Freedom: Excerpts have been coming out from an upcoming biography of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, focusing on the last three years. They are rumored to have given background interviews for the book, and some of the details, like what they both drank on their first date and the exact voicemails she left her dad, seem to confirm that. They honestly come across as being perpetual victims, who thought that the fact they were popular should have superceded the line of succession - literally the backbone of the monarchy. I’m not planning on buying this book, but I’m certainly enjoying the chatter about it online!

folklore: It’s no secret that Eloise and I love Taylor Swift so we were so excited that she dropped a surprise album last week! It’s significantly more mellow than her past albums, but very cohesive with her signature songwriting skill. I was definitely hoping for a few new running songs, but I think it’s going to be a great album for relaxing and chill fall vibes.

Puzzle Time: I’ve been back in Boston this week and enjoying some solo time and working on finally finishing my Gray Malin puzzle that I started so long ago! This is one of the harder puzzles I have ever done, especially this smaller size, but it’s fun to have one that’s so summery and visually pretty.
