The Spencers are first cousins of Prince William and Prince Harry, but even though they aren’t “royals”, they still have all of the important royal connections and a little bit more of that rich, celebrity edge, especially the children of Charles - Earl Spencer, Diana’s younger brother - and his first wife, Victoria Lockwood, the former model who is now a psychologist and addiction counselor in Cape Town, South Africa. They had four children together, Kitty, Amelia, Eliza and Louis, who are now in the 20’s and 30’s and really starting to make a name for themselves.

The children mainly grew up in South Africa, but also spent a good amount of time in the UK. Their family moved to South Africa in 1995 to escape the media circus around Princess Diana, so they had relatively normal childhoods. After a few years of challenges, like addiction and infidelity, their parents were divorced in 1997.

The four oldest Spencer children also have three half-siblings, the Hon. Edmund and Lady Lara, Spencer’s children with his second wife, Caroline Freud and Lady Charlotte Diana, the daughter of Spencer and his third wife, Canadian philanthropist Karen Gordon.

Lady Kitty

Kitty Eleanor Spencer is the most prominent of the Spencer siblings, primarily because she is the oldest and has built serious fashion credentials. Kitty studied psychology, politics, and English literature at the University of Cape Town and later completed a master's degree in luxury brand management from the European Business School London at Regent's University London. Now a professional model, Kitty has worked with Dolce & Gabbana, been on the cover of VOGUE Japan and is a brand ambassador for BVLGARI - plus many, many society magazine covers. Spencer is an ambassador for Centrepoint, a charity that supports homeless youth, which Princess Diana was the patron of, and Prince William is currently the patron of. She is also a trustee and patron for the military charity Give Us Time.

She leads a very glamourous life that includes her 61 year-old fiance, Michael Lewis, the CEO of a fashion group, who she shares a 19 million pound home in London and a 30 year age difference.

Lady Amelia and Lady Eliza

Katya “Amelia” and Eliza are twins! They Amelia is engaged to her boyfriend of 11 years, Greg Mallett, so that means there are two Spencer weddings on the horizon! Eliza also has a long-time boyfriend Channing Millerd, who has a 5-year-old son that she is close with. They are starting to really make a splash on the social scene, appearing together on the cover of Tatler in March and announcing they are moving to London - I expect to see much more of them very soon, following in Lady Kitty’s footsteps.

Louis, Viscount Althorp

Louis Frederick John Spencer, the youngest of the bunch, is the heir to the earldom and the estate. At 27, he’s making lists of the most eligible European bachelors, going back stage with Nicki Minaj and generally rocking that strong jawline. He attended the University of Edinburgh, and mostly stays out of the spotlight, despite being rumored to be an aspiring actor.
