What We’re Talking About This Week:

Three Things that Eloise is Talking About:

Droolworthy Recipes: Half Baked Harvest by Tieghan Gerard, halfbakedharvest.com. I have been cooking and baking up a storm in quarantine, and I’m getting most of my new recipes from this site. Tieghan has amazing baking recipes-my kids lost their minds for the naan bread and the homemade pop tarts. She also has easy sheet pan dinner recipes like Lemon Rosemary Dijon Chicken and Potatoes, and salad and vegetable recipes, with lots of Asian and Mexican inspired recipes that my husband loves. Her photography and writing are also beautiful and so inspiring!

Family Drama Even Worse Than Yours: Even the Rich by Wondery. This is a relatively new podcast that delves into the live of rich and dramatic families. It starts with a look at the British royal family and the events leading up to the weddings of Diana and Charles and Meghan and Harry, and what happened when these commoners became royal and saw that it wasn’t the fairytale that they were expecting.  Now they’re onto the Murdoch family and the scandals and drama behind the scenes in that family. It’s quick and fun and I’ve definitely learned a thing or two about these very intriguing families.

Binge This:: Never Have I Ever on Netflix. Created by Mindy Kaling, this comedy about a complicated first generation teenage Indian girl and her friends and family is funny, smart and cozy. After Devi loses her father and works through her own medical issues, she’s back in high school and determined to become popular while dragging her two best friends along with her. Her family is also navigating their own difficulties and dealing with grief and cultural differences. While it touches on heavy topics, the show is really funny and I laughed out loud multiple times watching Devi negotiate hot guys, teen drama and family relationships all narrated by John McEnroe.

Three things that Dinah is Talking About

Rewatch This: Eloise may be the resident Bravo cocktail party host, but I am also a huge fan. On Vanderpump Rules, I have been feeling like there is more to the Kristen/Stassi/Katie feud, so even before Stassi referenced “Kristen 2013 behavior” I rewatched Vanderpump Rules, Season 2 and it made so much more sense! What Kristen is doing with Carter now is exactly what she did after Sandoval cheated on her in Vegas - she was always sobbing, miserable, talking smack about him to her friends, but refused to leave because he was her “best friend” and they lived together. It eventually turned out that she had cheated on him with Jax, but I can see that her two best girlfriends that have supported her throughout the years and throughout her betraying them are sick of having their lives taken over by this drama. Plus, the way Kristen keeps going to Beau about it shows Kristen’s lack of respect for their relationship. It was so eye opening, and a really fun rewatch!

Makeover Your Phone: With the extra time I am spending on my phone lately, I decided to change the home screen and lock screen, just to spice things up! So many great visual artists will post their work so that you can add it to your phone. Right now I am loving Gray Malin’s dreamy beach scenes that have me dreaming of my first post-quarantine trip (sign up for his emails, he sends a new one every Friday!), and Art by Stephanie Roberts “wallpaper” highlight on Instagram for a little bit more color and edginess!

Royal Read: I have loved all of the royal home offices that we are getting a peek at as royals around the world work from home. From Queen Maxima’s fabulous wallpaper and Queen Letizia’s modern minimalism, to the Duchess of Cambridge (who featured a set of books that I actually own!) I have been so inspired to create a chic workspace for myself.
